When styled correctly, a woman can easily rock a men’s watch with her outfit this holiday season. The watch featured in this outfit is from Invaluable, one of the largest online market auctions. They auction jewelry, fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles and estate sales. I recommend you check it out and place bids on items you like (there’s a great selection of men’s watches and, if you have a rustic edge to your home decor like me, a great assortment of antiques!).
I styled my holiday outfit below based off of the Van Cleef & Arpels gold and diamond wristwatch picture above. Honestly, I selected the watch based on its look…not the $1,000 starting bid! I love mixing silver and gold accessories, and I knew the black band, gold trimmings and clear diamonds would easily pair well with the combination.
Chunky men’s watches are a strong, functional statement piece. You can look good and be on time too! I’m a huge fan of chunky jewelry–especially when it’s paired with super feminine clothing. So before you rush off to your holiday parties this Christmas, grab a men’s watch to add some dazzle to your holiday outfit.
This outfit features black tights, belt, clutch and closed-toe shoes. These are great staple items I wear all winter long.
Accessories make or break an outfit. Here I combined silver and gold. The Van Cleef Arpels men’s watch in photo 1 is from Invaluable. The assorted gold bangles and gold/silver necklace in photo 2 are both from Francesca’s. The cream blush, cream gold eyeshadow and semi matte lipstick in photo 3 are from Mary Kay.
With the chilly weather this winter (despite the lack of snow in Indiana) you’ll want to bundle up! This coat, also a shade of purple burgundy, and gray/black scarf are both from Kohl’s and will keep you warm while still sporting style.
Grab a men’s watch before you rush off to your next holiday gathering this December. Incorporate the watch into your party attire and don’t forget to grab that silver sparkly present!
