This is the last week of 2015.
For me, that means it’s time to buy a new planner (I’m lost without one). But, my planner isn’t really the focus of my mind musings at the moment.
Today was a tough one. I said goodbye to House of Hope Northeast Indiana, working my very last day in the office.
Over two and a half years ago I started working for the ministry fresh out of undergrad. This position was vital in shaping my adult self and really developing and refining my career passions. I will never forget the relationships I formed or the advice and mentorship I received along the way. I learned so much both professionally and personally. I am humbled and honored to have had a chance to work with the House of Hope team and experience firsthand how God comes through in some amazing ways. Leaving is bittersweet.
This past fall I felt God’s prompting to start looking for the next career step. And, with my Master’s Degree almost complete, I knew His timing was and continues to be right. I have no doubt God lined up this next career step for me. I am leaving this ministry, but I will never forget the lessons learned or relationships formed. This experience will always have a place in my heart.
Let 2016 begin!
