This week winter showed up. And it really showed up. The beginning of this week was SO COLD. With messy snow. So messy it forced me to work out of a “home office” for one day. I didn’t go anywhere that whole entire day. Basically I just looked out the window….and ran outside for a… Continue reading Through the Looking Glass
It’s Wednesday morning and I am impressed with myself that I have only accidentally dated something “2015” once. Andddddd……..now that I said that I probably jinxed myself and will haphazardly write “2015” on all my documents without noticing. I’ve already spilled my coffee. I try SO HARD to be neat. And organized. And put together. But… Continue reading 4 Office Supplies to Start the New Year Right
This is the last week of 2015. For me, that means it’s time to buy a new planner (I’m lost without one). But, my planner isn’t really the focus of my mind musings at the moment. Today was a tough one. I said goodbye to House of Hope Northeast Indiana, working my very last… Continue reading My Final Week of 2015
IT’S CHRISTMAS WEEK! To celebrate, here’s some warm, cozy Christmas photos I captured. If you’re not pumped about Christmas coming up so soon, hopefully these do the trick!
If you’re like me, you just flipped through your planner and realized that, oh crap, Christmas is NEXT WEEK. I have two ideas for gift giving this Christmas. It’s a process. I throw my glove in the snow. This picture is just not turning out right. I adjust the shutter speed, the aperture, the ISO, and carefully focus in on my subject. There! Fifty photos later I click through the photo previews, finally satisfied. I look up at what’s left of the sun.… Continue reading There’s Purpose in the Process
It’s that time of year. It looks warm in these photos, but it’s really not. It’s December in Indiana, which means yesterday people mowed their yards and tomorrow it’s going to snow. Yep, it’s time to break out my stash of tasteful turtlenecks! And boy does it feel good! I am very serious about my… Continue reading Turtleneck Time
Hey you! Yes you! I see you chugging along there reading blog posts and surfing the wonderful world of the web. It’s Giving Tuesday! I did not know this until about an hour ago. With all the shopping days (Black Friday, Cyber Monday) it’s nice to see a day that gives back to an organization… Continue reading Giving Tuesday
Here’s another event I photographed towards the end of October — a House of Hope Northeast Indiana dinner event. The photos turned out so regal! The dinner featured guest speaker Beth Nimmo, the mother of Rachel Joy Scott, a 1999 Columbine School shooting casualty. View the complete album HERE.
I photographed a House of Hope Northeast Indiana event this past fall. They hosted the Bluffton Free Street Fair’s “Opening Night Grand Parade” for Street Fair coordinators, judges, and grand marshals. Didn’t the volunteers do an awesome job with decorations?! View additional photos HERE.
